Econometric Society is pleased to announce that “The 5th Summer School of the Econometric Society" will be held in Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, August 7-11, 2017. The theme of the 5th Summer School is "Frontiers of Economic Theory.” Five experts on microeconomic theory will deliver lectures: (listed in alphabetical order) Colin Camerer (California Institute of Technology), In-Koo Cho (University of Illinois), Debraj Ray (New York University), Ariel Rubinstein (Tel Aviv University and New York University) and Leeat Yariv (California Institute of Technology).
We plan to hold a few sessions for a selected group of students to present their research.
 
Format of the Program

The program of the summer school consists of lectures and student presentations. Each of the 5 lecturers will deliver two 100 minutes lectures on a topics of his choice within economic theory. A few additional sessions will be allocated to short student presentations of their own research. In addition, students will have opportunities to interact informally with the lectures.
