Dong-A Engineering Institute was established

Renamed as Hanyang College of Engineering

Chartered as Hanyang University. College of Politics
and Economics was created, with Dept. of Economics, Dept. of Commerce, Dept. of Law, and Dept. of Politics and Diplomacy

College of Politics and Economics was divided into School of Business and College of Law and Politics.
- School of Business: Dept. of Economics, Dept. of International Trade,
Dept. of Economic Statistics, Dept. of Management
- College of Law and Politics: Dept. of Law, Dept. of Politics and Diplomacy

School of Business was expanded and reorganized
- Dept. of Economics, Dept. of International Trade, Dept. of Accounting, Dept. of Management

School of Business was further restructured
- Division of Economics, Division of Management

College of Economics and Finance (CE&F) was created
- Separated from School of Business as an independent college and division

CE&F building was completed

CE&F was selected for the University for Creative Korea (CK-II) Program

CE&F was selected for Phase 4 of the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) Program initiated by the Ministry of Education
